Misari Udon (신선미 미사리우동) in Hanam serves udon and kimbap, and its Gamil location is on the ground floor of a building on Sinusil-ro in Gamil, the neighborhood where we live. On September 23, 2026, I stopped in for lunch with my younger daughter, who is 9. We had just come from a clinic visit for her cold, and we were both hungry. She had the handmade udon, I had tteok-ramyeon, and we shared a vegetable kimbap. The tteok-ramyeon and the kimbap were the best part of the meal for me, and the long menu made it easy to find something for each of us.

Ordering at a kiosk and returning your bowls
You order at a kiosk. The receipt prints a pickup number (교환번호, gyohwan beonho), and when the food is ready you pick it up at the counter yourself. When you finish, you carry the empty bowls back to the kitchen. Small signs along the wall say the same thing in Korean: 다 드신 후 빈그릇은 앞으로 가져다주세요, “please bring your empty bowls to the front when you finish.” A self-service apron hangs on the wall for anyone who wants one.

Busy at lunchtime
We came in the middle of the lunch hour and the place was full. We got the last free table, so we did not have to wait, but people who came in after us had to wait for a seat, and some took their food to go instead. Orders had piled up, and our food took about 15 minutes to come out. The receipt shows our order went in at 12:39, and my first photo of the food on the table is from 12:53. Seating is a long counter with stools along one wall plus regular tables, and we ate at a table.

Yellow pickled radish (danmuji) and radish kimchi came with the meal, and I added a can of Chilsung Cider for 2,000 won.
Handmade udon for my daughter
My daughter’s 수제우동 (suje udon, handmade udon, 7,500 won) came in a steel bowl: thick noodles in a clear broth, with shredded seaweed and green onion on top. The shop’s wall boards say the udon is cooked to order using aged fresh noodles (숙성생면, sukseong saengmyeon), and the window says the broth is made with two kinds of anchovies. To me the udon tasted ordinary, but the noodles were chewy and nothing in the bowl was spicy, which made it a good choice for my daughter.

Tteok-ramyeon, my pick
떡라면 (tteok-ramyeon, 5,500 won) is instant ramyeon cooked with sliced rice cakes. Mine had egg stirred through an orange broth, oval slices of rice cake, and two kinds of noodles, one wavy and one spiral. There were plenty of rice cakes and egg in it, which made it a satisfying bowl.

Vegetable kimbap to share
야채김밥 (yachae gimbap, vegetable kimbap, 4,000 won) is the cheapest kimbap on the menu. The sliced roll came on a long plate, glossy and topped with sesame seeds. Inside were rice, a thick strip of egg, diced carrot, spinach and danmuji. We split it between us and it was very good. A wall board lists what the shop says goes into its kimbap: sesame oil pressed at a mill, vegetables seasoned with natural seasonings, laver from the south coast and rice from Gunsan.

A long menu with kimbap from 4,000 won
The menu on the front window is long, and I liked having that much choice. Kimbap runs from 4,000 to 5,000 won, ramyeon from 5,000 to 5,500 won, udon from 7,500 to 9,000 won and noodle soups (guksu) from 8,500 to 9,500 won. There are rice dishes such as bibimbap and kimchi jjigae (8,000 to 9,500 won), rice bowls at 9,500 won, pork cutlet from 9,000 to 12,000 won, side dishes like tteokbokki and dumplings, and set meals such as udon plus kimbap for 9,000 won. A summer menu adds cold noodles such as naengmyeon.
Here are the main menu items printed on the window on the day of our visit, in thousands of won. Korean names come first, since that is what you will see on the kiosk.

For our table of two, three dishes and a can of soda came to 19,000 won. The window lists a 9,000-won set with udon and one kimbap roll.
What the shop says on its window
Next to the door, a board titled “고객님과의 약속” (a promise to our customers) lists four points. These are the shop’s own claims, and I am passing them on as written, not as something I checked:
- The udon uses only aged fresh noodles (숙성생면).
- The broth is made each morning from two kinds of Korean anchovies and is used up the same day.
- The carrots and spinach for the kimbap are stir-fried each morning with natural seasoning and used up the same day.
- The pork cutlet uses Korean pork loin (국내산 생돈등심) delivered that day.
A large red sign on the other window says every item on the menu can be packed for takeaway, which matched what we saw at lunchtime, when some people took their food out instead of waiting for a seat.

Finding it in Gamil
The shop is on the ground floor of 61 Sinusil-ro; the receipt names the building as 감일푸리마타워. Miss Saigon, a Vietnamese noodle shop, is next door. Puradak Chicken, which I have written about, is on the same street at 65 Sinusil-ro. The shop does not show up on Google Maps under its own name, so the Google link in the box above goes to the building address, and the Naver Map link searches for the shop by name.

I would come back for the tteok-ramyeon and kimbap, especially on a day when we need a quick lunch close to home.
